Indiana High School Basketball - Covington nips Riverton Parke

January 28, 2025: Covington, IN 47932

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Covington Trojans basketball team scored a close 61-58 win over the Riverton Parke Panthers.

The Trojans (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN). The Falcons come into the Wabash River challenge with a 12-4 record. In their last challenge, North Vermillion edged North Central (Farmersburg, IN), 62-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Parke Heritage Wolves (Rockville, IN) in a Wabash River challenge, on Friday, January 31. Riverton Parke will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 54-49 non-league loss to Evansville Central (Evansville, IN).
