The North Vermillion Falcons nipped the host Covington Trojans basketball squad by a final score of 54-53 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Falcons face the North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers (Crawfordsville, IN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, February 1. North Vermillion will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record.

The Trojans (8-11) will now prepare for their outing against Fountain Central (Veedersburg, IN). The Mustangs enter the Wabash River outing with a 3-10 record.
