Benton Central Bison (Oxford, IN) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), 54-51 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Benton Central advances its record to 4-6 on the year. The Bison host Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN) to face the Indians in a Hoosier - West match on Friday, January 10. The Indians enter the match with a record of 7-5. Twin Lakes won 45-40 in their recent non-league match against Frontier (Chalmers, IN)

The Trojans now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverton Parke for a Wabash River match on Friday, January 10.
