The Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) basketball edged the host Crawfordsville Athenians (Crawfordsville, IN), 57-51 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 11-13 record. They play next when they travel to North Vermillion for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 4. Covington will play a Falcons team coming off a 69-54 league loss to Seeger (West Lebanon, IN). The Falcons record now stands at 16-7.

With the loss, Crawfordsville falls to 6-16 on the campaign. The Athenians travel to Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 5. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 13-8. Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory won 58-52 in their recent league bout against Roncalli (Indianapolis, IN)
