January 28, 2025: Leola, SD 57456 Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD), 39-29 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Britton-Hecla advances its record to 3-9 on the year. The Braves travel to Roncalli (Aberdeen, SD) to face the Cavaliers in a A Region 1 match on Friday, January 31. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 10-2. Roncalli won 38-26 in their recent league match against Groton (Groton, SD)
The Titans now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faulkton for a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. Leola/Frederick will face a Trojans squad coming off a 45-39 non-league win over Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD). The Trojans record now stands at 8-5.
