The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) and the visiting Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD), observed Northwestern Area's basketball team knock off Leola/Frederick by a score of 49-30.

The Wildcats (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Faulkton (Faulkton, SD). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Faulkton was knocked off by Ipswich (Ipswich, SD), 49-41, in a league challenge.
