In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Northwestern Area Wildcats basketball team scored a good 54-35 triumph over the Ipswich Tigers.

The Wildcats (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD). The Battlers go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] topped Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD), 56-19, in a non-league contest.
