The North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD) basketball were winner over the host Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, SD), 50-42 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Thunder now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Herreid/Selby for a B Region 6 bout on Friday, January 24. North Central will play a Wolverines team coming off a 71-63 non-league win over South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] (Wishek, ND). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-4.
