Alaska High School Basketball - Dimond holds off West Anchorage

The Dimond Lynx basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host West Anchorage Eagles to 49 in the Lynx league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lynx now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Anchorage for a 4A Cook Inlet game on Thursday, January 30. Dimond will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 36-28 league win over Eagle River (Eagle River, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, West Anchorage falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Bartlett (Anchorage, AK) to confront the Golden Bears in a 4A Cook Inlet game on Friday, January 31. The Golden Bears go into the game with a record of 9-2. Bartlett won 59-26 in their recent league game against Chugiak (Chugiak, AK)
