In Friday's league outing, the Granger Lancers (West Valley City, UT) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Hunter Wolverines (West Valley City, UT), by a margin of 86-76.

The Lancers (3-11) will now prepare for their outing against Skyline (Salt Lake City, UT). The Eagles go into the 5A Region 2 outing with a 7-9 record. In their last outing, Skyline topped Cyprus (Magna, UT), 75-64, in a league outing.

The Wolverines now own a 1-12 record. They take the field next when they host Murray for a 5A Region 2 outing on Tuesday, February 2. Hunter will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 68-50 league win over Cyprus (Magna, UT). The Spartans record now stands at 6-8.
