The Lutheran Crusaders basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Genoa-Kingston Cogs to 53 in the Crusaders league triumph on Saturday.

The Crusaders now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Falls for a Big Northern contest on Tuesday, February 1. Lutheran will battle a Rockets team coming off a 60-57 non-league loss to Princeton (Princeton, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 10-13.

The Cogs (17-6) will now prepare for their contest against Winnebago (Winnebago, IL). The Indians enter the Big Northern contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Winnebago triumphed over Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL), 65-53, in a non-league contest.
