Illinois High School Basketball - Clark nips Proviso West
January 29, 2023: Hillside, IL 60162 Clark Eagles (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Sunday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Proviso West Panthers (Hillside, IL), 48-41 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Clark upgrades its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Prosser (Chicago, IL) to play the Falcons in a Chicago Public - Red Northwest bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 2-19. Prosser lost 53-44 in their recent league bout against Orr (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Panthers play the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL) in a West Suburban - Silver bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Proviso West will attempt to upgrade on its 7-14 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 64-52 league loss to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL).
