Maryland High School Basketball - Annapolis nips Glen Burnie
January 29, 2024: Annapolis, MD 21401 Annapolis Panthers (Annapolis, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD), 59-57 in a league bout.
With the win, Annapolis upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Panthers travel to Severna Park (Severna Park, MD) to play the Falcons in a Anne Arundel County bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Severna Park lost 57-52 in their recent league bout against Old Mill (Millersville, MD)
Next up, the Gophers play the North County Knights (Glen Burnie, MD) in a Anne Arundel County bout, on Friday, February 2. Glen Burnie will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 46-44 league win over Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD).
