Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Meade Mustangs (Fort Meade, MD) and the visiting Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD), saw Meade's basketball squad knock off Glen Burnie by a tally of 69-55.

With the victory, Meade improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to South River (Edgewater, MD) to play the Seahawks in a Anne Arundel County challenge on Wednesday, December 13. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. South River won 75-67 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Mary's (Annapolis, MD)

Next up, the Gophers play the Patapsco Patriots (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 11. Glen Burnie will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
