January 29, 2024: Colonial Beach, VA 22443 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Colonial Beach Drifters (Colonial Beach, VA) and the visiting King & Queen Central Royal Tigers (King & Queen Court House, VA), saw Colonial Beach's basketball squad wallop King & Queen Central by a count of 58-26.
With the victory, Colonial Beach upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Drifters travel to Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA) to play the Raiders in a Northern Neck challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Rappahannock lost 51-32 in their recent league challenge against Essex (Tappahannock, VA)
Next up, the Royal Tigers play the Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. King & Queen Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 61-42 league win over Chincoteague (Chincoteague, VA).
