California High School Basketball - Highland overwhelms Golden Valley
January 29, 2024: Bakersfield, CA 93307 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA) and the host Golden Valley Bulldogs (Bakersfield, CA), saw Highland's basketball squad wallop Golden Valley by a tally of 71-33.
With the victory, Highland improves its record to 18-6 on the campaign. The Scots travel to Centennial (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Golden Hawks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Golden Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 19-6. Centennial won 73-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Arvin Bears (Arvin, CA) in a South Yosemite - Horizon challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Golden Valley will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record.
