New Jersey High School Basketball - Kingsway tops Vineland
January 29, 2024: Vineland, NJ 08361 Kingsway Dragons (Woolwich Township, NJ) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Vineland Fighting Clan (Vineland, NJ), 69-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Kingsway upgrades its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Dragons host Gloucester County Tech (Sewell, NJ) to play the in a Tri-County - Royal bout on Thursday, February 1. The come into the bout with a record of 7-12. Gloucester County Tech lost 40-39 in their recent league bout against Clearview (Mullica Hill, NJ)
Next up, the Fighting Clan play the Buena Chiefs (Buena, NJ) in a Cape/Atlantic - United bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Vineland will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Chiefs come into the bout with a 0-17 record after their 69-21 non-league loss to Absegami (Galloway, NJ).
