Highland Regional Tartans (Blackwood, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Kingsway Dragons (Woolwich Township, NJ), 71-67 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Highland Regional upgrades its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Tartans travel to Gloucester City (Gloucester City, NJ) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 6-9. Gloucester City lost 64-55 in their recent league bout against Woodbury (Woodbury, NJ)

Next up, the Dragons play the Bishop Eustace Prep Crusaders (Pennsauken, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Kingsway will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record.
