New Jersey High School Basketball - Kingsway trounces Cumberland
January 10, 2024: Seabrook, NJ 08302 The Kingsway Dragons (Woolwich Township, NJ) basketball crushed the host Cumberland Colts (Seabrook, NJ), 70-35 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Dragons (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Lenape (Medford, NJ). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Lenape was trounced by Eastside (Camden, NJ), 57-52, in a league test.
The Colts now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Camden Academy Charter for a non-league test on Friday, January 12. Cumberland will encounter a squad coming off a 48-47 non-league win over Riverside (Riverside, NJ). The record now stands at 8-1.
