New Jersey High School Basketball - Kingsway knocked off by Pitman
January 15, 2024: Woolwich Township, NJ 08085 The Pitman Panthers basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Kingsway Dragons to 40 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clayton for a Tri-County - Classic contest on Tuesday, January 16. Pitman will battle a Clippers team coming off a 87-80 non-league loss to Maple Shade (Maple Shade, NJ). The Clippers record now stands at 3-9.
The Dragons (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Washington Township (Sewell, NJ). The Minutemen enter the Tri-County - Royal contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Washington Township ran past Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ), 63-44, in a non-league contest.
