New Jersey High School Basketball - Neptune overwhelms St. Rose
January 29, 2024: Neptune, NJ 07753 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ) and the visiting St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ), saw Neptune's basketball squad wallop St. Rose by a tally of 67-27.
With the victory, Neptune improves its record to 2-17 on the campaign. The Scarlet Fliers travel to Point Pleasant Boro (Point Pleasant, NJ) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Point Pleasant Boro lost 66-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Ranney (Tinton Falls, NJ)
Next up, the Purple Roses confront the St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) in a Shore A - Central challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. St. Rose will attempt to improve on its 18-2 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 53-43 non-league win over Wall Township (Wall, NJ).
