Iowa High School Basketball - Union trounces South Tama County
January 29, 2024: Tama, IA 52339 The Union Knights (La Porte City, IA) basketball crushed the host South Tama County Trojans (Tama, IA), 47-25 in Monday's non-league test.
The Knights (4-15) will now prepare for their test against Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA). The Warriors go into the North Iowa Cedar - East test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Wapsie Valley walloped Jesup (Jesup, IA), 35-34, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 0-17 record. They play next when they host Williamsburg for a WAMAC - West test on Tuesday, January 30. South Tama County will meet a Raiders team coming off a 43-30 non-league win over Grinnell (Grinnell, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 8-7.
