The Ballou Knights basketball squad (Washington, DC), was outscored 57-45 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Coolidge Colts (Washington, DC)

With the victory, Coolidge advances its record to 15-6 on the year. The Colts host Takoma Academy (Takoma Park, MD) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 12-11. Takoma Academy won 63-40 in their recent league bout against Southern Maryland Christian Academy (White Plains, MD)

With the loss, Ballou falls to 11-10 on the campaign. The Knights travel to KIPP College Prep (Washington, DC) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-8. KIPP College Prep lost 70-62 in their recent league bout against Parkside (Washington, DC)
