Maine High School Basketball - Cony thwarts Lawrence
January 29, 2025: Augusta, ME 04330 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Cony Rams (Augusta, ME) and the visiting Lawrence Bulldogs (Fairfield, ME), observed Cony's basketball team knock off Lawrence by a score of 73-61.
The Rams (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Camden Hills (Rockport, ME). The Windjammers come into the A North challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Camden Hills prevailed over Hampden (Hampden, ME), 55-45, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME) in a A North challenge, on Friday, January 31. Lawrence will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The River Hawks come into the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 48-44 league loss to Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME).
