Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Lawrence Bulldogs (Fairfield, ME), 63-48 in a league match.

With the victory, Brewer upgrades its record to 10-0 on the year. The Witches host Hampden (Hampden, ME) to face the Broncos in a A North match on Tuesday, January 7. The Broncos enter the match with a record of 6-2. Hampden won 55-48 in their recent non-league match against Oceanside (Rockland, ME)

The Bulldogs now sport a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Skowhegan for a A North match on Tuesday, January 7. Lawrence will face a River Hawks squad coming off a 51-49 league loss to Nokomis (Newport, ME). The River Hawks record now stands at 0-9.
