January 29, 2025: Elyria, OH 44035 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Elyria Catholic Panthers basketball team scored a close 39-33 win over the Brunswick Blue Devils.
The Panthers (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH). The Lions come into the Crown contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin was tipped by Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH), 50-36, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Strongsville Mustangs (Strongsville, OH) in a Greater Cleveland contest, on Friday, January 31. Brunswick will attempt to advance on its 5-12 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 16-1 record after their 87-39 league win over Euclid (Euclid, OH).
