California High School Basketball - Burlingame thwarts Jefferson
January 29, 2025: Daly City, CA 94014 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Burlingame Panthers (Burlingame, CA) and the host Jefferson Grizzlies (Daly City, CA), observed Burlingame's basketball team knock off Jefferson by a score of 58-44.
The Panthers (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodside (Woodside, CA). The Wildcats come into the Peninsula - Ocean challenge with a 8-9 record. In their last challenge, Woodside was knocked off by San Mateo (San Mateo, CA), 43-30, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Grizzlies encounter the Oceana Sharks (Pacifica, CA) in a Peninsula - Ocean challenge, on Friday, January 31. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 53-35 league loss to El Camino (South San Francisco, CA).
