The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the St. David Tigers (St. David, AZ) and the host Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ), observed St. David's basketball team overwhelm Valley Union by a score of 56-25.

The Tigers (16-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Mogollon (Heber, AZ). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 16-6 record. In their last challenge, Mogollon trounced Williams (Williams, AZ), 37-29, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Patagonia Lobos (Patagonia, AZ) in a 1A South challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Valley Union will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record.
