Massachusetts High School Ice Hockey - Groton School knocks off Buckingham Browne & Nichols
January 29, 2025: Groton, MA 01450 The Groton School ice hockey team scored 5 points and held the visiting Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights to 1 in the league victory on Wednesday.
The now own a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roxbury Latin for a bout on Friday, January 31. Groton School will encounter a Foxes team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Rivers (Weston, MA). The Foxes record now stands at 8-7.
With the defeat, Buckingham Browne & Nichols moves to 3-14 on the season. The Knights host Austin Prep (Reading, MA) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Austin Prep lost 7-1 in their recent non-league bout against Pomfret School (Pomfret, CT)
