In Thursday's league test, the Grady Wildcats (Lenorah, TX) basketball squad trounced the host Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX), by a final score of 53-19.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Dawson Dragons (Welch, TX) in a 1A Region I District 6 test, on Friday, January 30. Grady will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 4-8 record after their 53-26 league loss to Borden County (Gail, TX).

The Longhorns (1-15) will now prepare for their bout against Klondike (Lamesa, TX). The Cougars go into the 1A Region I District 6 bout with a 3-9 record. In their last bout, Klondike was ripped by Sands (Ackerly, TX), 55-49, in a league bout.
