Iowa High School Basketball - Tri-County overwhelmed by Melcher-Dallas
January 30, 2023: Melcher, IA 50163 The Melcher-Dallas Saints basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Tri-County Trojans to 44 in the Saints non-league victory on Monday.
The Saints now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Twin Cedars for a Bluegrass contest on Tuesday, January 31. Melcher-Dallas will battle a Sabers team coming off a 59-29 non-league loss to H-L-V (Victor, IA). The Sabers record now stands at 5-10.
The Trojans (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Sigourney (Sigourney, IA). The Savages come into the South Iowa Cedar contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Sigourney triumphed over Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA), 52-44, in a league contest.
