Iowa High School Basketball - Osage crushes Charles City
January 30, 2023: Charles City, IA 50616 Osage Green Devils (Osage, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Charles City Comets (Charles City, IA), 66-11 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Osage upgrades its record to 18-1 on the season. The Green Devils travel to Rockford (Rockford, IA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-14. Rockford lost 53-12 in their recent league bout against Central Springs (Manly, IA)
Next up, the Comets play the Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Charles City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Cadets go into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 51-47 non-league loss to St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA).
