Iowa High School Basketball - Harris-Lake Park crushes West Bend-Mallard
January 30, 2023: West Bend, IA 50597 Harris-Lake Park Wolves (Lake Park, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA), 69-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Harris-Lake Park upgrades its record to 4-10 on the season. The Wolves host Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-13. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn lost 87-31 in their recent non-league bout against Hinton (Hinton, IA)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA) in a Twin Lakes bout, on Tuesday, January 31. West Bend-Mallard will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 85-28 league loss to Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA).
