The Blue Ridge Barons basketball team scored 94 points and held the host North Cross Raiders to 40 in the Barons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Barons now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Virginia Episcopal School for a Virginia Independent contest on Thursday, February 1. Blue Ridge will battle a Bishops team coming off a 72-42 league win over The Covenant (Charlottesville, VA). The Bishops record now stands at 9-8.
The Raiders (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Mavericks enter the Virginia Independent contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Miller School of Albemarle was routed by The Burlington School (Burlington, NC), 65-56, in a non-league contest.
