The Canyon Comanches basketball team scored 84 points and held the visiting El Modena Vanguards to 50 in the Comanches non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Comanches now sport a 21-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Foothill for a Crestview contest on Thursday, February 1. Canyon will battle a Knights team coming off a 46-41 non-league win over El Dorado (Placentia, CA). The Knights record now stands at 19-8.

The Vanguards (10-16) will now prepare for their contest against Brea Olinda (Brea, CA). The Wildcats enter the North Hills contest with a 9-15 record. In their last contest, Brea Olinda was routed by Villa Park (Villa Park, CA), 73-49, in a non-league contest.
