Wisconsin High School Basketball - Cashton tops De Soto
January 30, 2024: De Soto, WI 54624 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cashton Eagles (Cashton, WI) and the host De Soto Pirates (De Soto, WI), saw Cashton's basketball squad knock off De Soto by a tally of 62-52.
With the victory, Cashton improves its record to 17-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Brookwood (Ontario, WI) to play the Falcons in a Scenic Bluffs challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Brookwood lost 79-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Wauzeka-Steuben (Wauzeka, WI)
Next up, the Pirates play the Ithaca Bulldogs (Richland Center, WI) in a Ridge & Valley challenge, on Thursday, February 1. De Soto will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 72-41 non-league win over Necedah (Necedah, WI).
