January 30, 2024: Otis, KS 67565 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Central Plains Oilers (Claflin, KS) and the host Otis-Bison Cougars (Otis, KS), saw Central Plains's basketball squad wallop Otis-Bison by a count of 71-31.
With the victory, Central Plains upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Oilers host St. John (St. John, KS) to play the Tigers in a Central Prairie challenge on Friday, February 2. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. St. John won 69-15 in their recent non-league challenge against Chase (Chase, KS)
Next up, the Cougars play the Ashland Blue Jays (Ashland, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Otis-Bison will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Blue Jays come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 65-49 non-league loss to Pawnee Heights (Rozel, KS).
