Kansas High School Basketball - Central Plains overwhelms St. John
February 2, 2024: Claflin, KS 67525 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Central Plains Oilers (Claflin, KS) and the visiting St. John Tigers (St. John, KS), saw Central Plains's basketball squad wallop St. John by a tally of 49-12.
With the victory, Central Plains improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Oilers travel to Ellinwood (Ellinwood, KS) to play the Eagles in a Central Prairie challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Ellinwood lost 40-38 in their recent league challenge against Victoria (Victoria, KS)
Next up, the Tigers play the Otis-Bison Cougars (Otis, KS) in a Central Prairie challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. St. John will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record.
