Kansas High School Basketball - St. John holds off Victoria

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the St. John Tigers (St. John, KS) and the visiting Victoria Knights (Victoria, KS), saw St. John's basketball squad hold off Victoria by a tally of 58-56.

With the victory, St. John improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Sterling (Sterling, KS) to confront the Black Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Black Bears come into the challenge with a record of 16-1. Sterling won 57-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Berean Academy (Elbing, KS)

Next up, the Knights confront the Kinsley Coyotes (Kinsley, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Victoria will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 1-16 record after their 54-34 non-league loss to Ellinwood (Ellinwood, KS).
