Arkansas High School Basketball - Concord tops Rural Special
January 30, 2024: Concord, AR 72523 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Concord Pirates (Concord, AR) and the visiting Rural Special Rebels (Fox, AR), saw Concord's basketball squad knock off Rural Special by a count of 66-54.
With the victory, Concord upgrades its record to 23-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Norfork (Norfork, AR) to play the Panthers in a 1A Region 2 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-18.
Next up, the Rebels play the Calico Rock Pirates (Calico Rock, AR) in a 1A Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Rural Special will attempt to upgrade on its 12-14 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 2-26 record after their 68-56 league loss to Norfork (Norfork, AR).
