Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Crestwood overwhelmed by Hazleton Area
January 30, 2024: Hazleton, PA 18202 The Hazleton Area Cougars basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Crestwood Comets to 46 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilkes-Barre for a Wyoming Valley 1 contest on Friday, February 2.
The Comets (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Berwick (Berwick, PA). The Bulldogs come into the Wyoming Valley 1 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Berwick triumphed over Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA), 58-57, in a league contest.
