January 4, 2024: Pittston, PA 18640 The Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA) basketball felled the host Pittston Patriots (Pittston, PA), 46-38 in Thursday's league test.
The Comets (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA). The Tigers go into the Wyoming Valley 1 test with a 1-4 record.
The Patriots now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hazleton Area for a Wyoming Valley 1 test on Saturday, January 6. Pittston will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 77-46 league win over Berwick (Berwick, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-4.
