January 30, 2024: Mt. Vernon, OH 43050 The Olentangy Berlin Bears basketball team scored 74 points and held the host Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets to 48 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dublin Jerome for a Ohio Capital - Cardinal contest on Friday, February 2. Olentangy Berlin will battle a Celtics team coming off a 64-57 non-league loss to Harvest Prep (Canal Winchester, OH). The Celtics record now stands at 7-10.
The Yellowjackets (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wooster (Wooster, OH). The Generals enter the Ohio Cardinal contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Wooster was routed by Ashland (Ashland, OH), 50-46, in a league contest.
