January 30, 2024: Carlisle, PA 17013 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA) and the host Carlisle Thundering Herd (Carlisle, PA), saw Altoona's basketball squad overcome Carlisle by a tally of 51-42.
With the victory, Altoona improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Mountain Lions host Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA) to confront the Trojans in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth challenge on Friday, February 2. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Chambersburg lost 30-25 in their recent league challenge against Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA)
Next up, the Thundering Herd confront the Central Dauphin Rams (Harrisburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth challenge, on Friday, February 2. Carlisle will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 38-33 league win over Altoona (Altoona, PA).
