The Crow Creek Chieftains basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Lower Brule Sioux to 43 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Chieftains now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cheyenne-Eagle Butte for a A Region 6 contest on Thursday, February 1. Crow Creek will battle a Braves team coming off a 53-46 non-league loss to Bennett County (Martin, SD). The Braves record now stands at 4-11.

The Sioux (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD). The Spartans come into the B Region 5 contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Wessington Springs edged Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD), 59-49, in a non-league contest.
