California High School Basketball - Downey trounces Gahr

January 30, 2024: Downey, CA 90241

The Downey Vikings (Downey, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Gahr Gladiators (Cerritos, CA), 60-37 in Tuesday's league test.

The Vikings (15-12) will now prepare for their test against Warren (Downey, CA). The Bears go into the Gateway test with a 7-14 record. In their last test, Warren was trounced by Gahr (Cerritos, CA), 58-37, in a league test.

The Gladiators now own a 18-7 record. They play next when they host Paramount for a Gateway test on Thursday, February 1. Gahr will battle a Pirates team coming off a 65-58 league loss to Lynwood (Lynwood, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 20-7.
