North Carolina High School Basketball - Mount Tabor tops East Forsyth
January 30, 2024: Winston-Salem, NC 27106 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC) and the visiting East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC), saw Mount Tabor's basketball squad knock off East Forsyth by a count of 54-35.
With the victory, Mount Tabor upgrades its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Davie (Mocksville, NC) to play the War Eagles in a 4A Central Piedmont challenge on Friday, February 2. The War Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Davie lost 49-34 in their recent league challenge against Reagan (Pfafftown, NC)
Next up, the Eagles play the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. East Forsyth will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 54-49 league win over Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
