East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), 45-36 in a league bout.

With the win, East Forsyth upgrades its record to 6-13 on the season. The Eagles travel to R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Demons in a 4A Central Piedmont bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 12-8. R.J. Reynolds won 41-39 in their recent league bout against Glenn (Kernersville, NC)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Reagan Raiders (Pfafftown, NC) in a 4A Central Piedmont bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Parkland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 34-27 league loss to West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC).
