The R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) basketball nipped the host Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), 52-51 in Tuesday's league test.

The Demons (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Bobcats go into the 4A Central Piedmont test with a 2-17 record. In their last test, Glenn was tipped by West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC), 40-26, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to East Forsyth for a 4A Central Piedmont test on Friday, February 2. Parkland will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 46-31 non-league loss to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-13.
