North Carolina High School Basketball - Parkland overwhelms Atkins

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC) and the visiting Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC), saw Parkland's basketball squad wallop Atkins by a tally of 66-42.

With the victory, Parkland improves its record to 1-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC) to confront the Titans in a 4A Central Piedmont challenge on Friday, December 15. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. West Forsyth won 61-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Camels confront the Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles (Greensboro, NC) in a 3A Mid-State challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Atkins will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 58-32 non-league win over Page (Greensboro, NC).
